Made in Chelsea and Celebs Go Dating star Sam Thompson has been setting an ongoing fashion trend in the UK.
In MIC series 15, the 26-year-old started to don a small silver pendant necklace that dangled over his often block-coloured jumpers or t-shirts.
Now, it seems like everyone in the UK is jumping on the hype. Here’s how you can stay ahead of the trend.

Sam Thompson’s Statement
We think – and we can say ‘think’ due to the horrendous continuity of Made in Chelsea’s scripted scenes – that Sam Thompson was the first to sport the silver pendant necklace.
Here’s Sam wearing his trademark necklace towards the very start of MIC series 15, which aired in 2018.
The necklace sits on top of a plain T-shirt – in Sam’s case black – and it’s a look that everyone seems to be copying these days.
Jamie Laing and the Gang
Within a flash, the rest of the Made in Chelsea gang were copying Sam’s fashion statement.
From Jamie Laing to Miles Nazaire and even James Taylor, they’re all doing it nowadays.

How to Get The Look
Considering the likes of Jamie Laing are worth around £2 million, you’re probably not going to go out and shop in the same jewellers.
That said, all the popular fashion outlets such as Boohoo, Asos, Berksha and Topman have silver pendant necklaces online.
The cheapest can be found on Boohoo.com, who sell simple pendants for as little as £3!
If you want a piece that isn’t going to rust, however, then you’re going to want sterling silver, which will likely come at a cost of at least £20.
Current popular pendant designs include St Christopher and coins such as francs.
