A whole new host of queens are ready to battle it out to become America’s next drag superstar.

What is Silky Nutmeg Ganache’s Real Name?
Silky Nutmeg Ganache, who is also known simply as ‘Silky Ganache’ was born Reginald Steele.
Silky was born in Mississippi but now lives in Chicago, Illinois and is 28 years old.
In an interview with VH1 Silky explained that her name was given to her by a mentor at her all-male college. He came up with the name ‘Silky’ and said: “You are sometimes ghetto but you’re always classy”.
Silky said she then went home that night and was watching the Food Network where she heard the phrase “silky ganache” and adopted the name.

Silky Ganache, who introduces herself as ‘The Creamy, the dreamy, the southern belle’ said: “I’m America’s next drag superstar because I’m pretty.
She continues: “I’m a human being just like every one of you. I’m going to be America’s first plus-size drag superstar, mark my words.”
Silky says she’s a down-to-earth girl, “your cousin, a shoulder to cry on. A fun-loving girl who loves to entertain”.
