There will be a host of musical numbers both planned and sporadic.

Speaking to Digital Spy, Courtney explained the show format further:

Channel 4 have been wonderful. They came along to the taping of the pilot, they loved the live performance aspects, the singing – there’s definitely going to be that element. It’s quite old school variety but with a 2018 context.

I don’t want it to be celebrities talking about their latest book or movie – we see that on every channel. I want it to be people seeing celebrities doing things they usually wouldn’t do, so it might be performing a duet with me or singing live, or doing a sketch or having a chat that isn’t just about their latest movie.
