If your 2019 Valentine’s Day spells a bottomless tub of Ben & Jerry’s, a warm duvet and a sofa then you’ve found the formula for the perfect night.
For many daters who are crammed into an unusually packed restaurant, desperately trying not to look stingy when it comes to the wine list, they’d rather be sat at home watching TV.
That’s because Channel 4 are launching their First Dates Valentine’s Special on Thursday, February 14th.

When is the First Dates: Valentine’s Special?
Naturally, the First Dates Valentines Special will air on Thursday, February 14th.
The one-off show will air on Channel 4 at 10 pm.
Just like any other First Dates episode, the restaurant will open its doors to a selection of first-time daters, with Fred Sirieix hosting the event.
Although of course this time, there’s the added pressure of knowing that it’s a Valentine’s special!
Valentine’s Special: Cast
Singletons looking for love include recent graduate Hannah, from Watford, who is hoping her date with 6ft 6 semi-professional golfer Oscar won’t be under par.
The highlight of the evening is sure to be a mother and son duo from London, who are paired up for a double date.
Chi-Chi and her son Kurtis are both on the show to find love, but can Kurtis keep his embarrassment at bay when a 57-year-old man starts chatting up his mum?
Finally, there’s 29-year-old Danny and 26-year-old make-up artist Demi, who happens to be best friends with First Dates’ waitress Laura.
Danny instantly has two women to impress – no pressure!
