If you didn’t think Love Island’s Dr Alex could go any redder, you haven’t seen him mid-conversation with Alexandra Cane’s mum.
During the Love Island 2018 parents episode, Alex George came face to face with Alexandra’s mum.
And she didn’t hold back…

“I Could Kill Him”
We were first introduced to Alexandra’s lovely mum as she confessed to wanting to kill Dr Alex.
With Alexandra asking her mother what she had made of her on-off relationship with the doctor, big Alexandra didn’t hold back:
Alexandra’s mum said: I’ve been trying to pull myself back from constantly feeling ‘I could kill him’. He thought he could drop you and pick you up at whim, and that’s not how life works.”
“Do We Need a Dividing Wall”
If you thought that was awkward, wait until Dr Alex was called into the conversation.
Sitting on the bed face-to-face with his demon – where Alexandra’s mum announced; “do we need a diving wall between us” – things managed to heat up even more.
Alexandra’s mum said: Oh Alex, I don’t know what show you thought you were coming on.”

“Not Nearly as Red in the Flesh”
Everyone laughed nervously as ‘mother’ continued with her opinions on Dr Al and Alexandra’s relationship, explaining that it didn’t make sense how the relationship kept flickering between all or nothing.
Eventually, she used her last dying moments on reality TV to take a pop at Alex’s sunburn – what a classic!
Alexandra’s mum said: Well there is one thing I must say. You’re not nearly as red in the flesh as you are on TV!”
Alex and Alexandra looked pretty damn shocked by the comments.
But hey, at least ‘mother’ and sections of Twitter found it funny…
