The Hotel Inspector returns for its fifteenth series!

The new series kicked off on Channel 5 on Thursday, June 6th and already we’ve had tears, tat-filled hotels and a whole lot of Alex Polizzi.

Here is how Alex and her team managed to transform the Rosehill House Hotel into a stunning wedding venue and bring some life back into the property!

Rosehill House Hotel is a Grade II listed converted Manor house in Burnley, Lancashire.

The hotel needed a serious reboot and Alex to cast her creative eye over it, as owner John Doherty was thinking about turning the property into flats. He and daughter Emma were failing to keep up with the competition with a big chain hotel nearby and we’re just making ends meet.

Alex predicted that turning the hotel into a space for functions and wedding – after a bit of a revamp – would give the hotel the boost it needed to keep up.

Major clear out!

John and Emma seriously needed to do a clear out of all the junk they’d accumulated.

They had everything from creepy dolls and wooden cat statues to broken board games and an Ebenezer Scrooge statue. Essentially a whole load of tat.

Rosehill House Hotel transformed!

Alex brought some life back into the hotel.

After the major clear out, the stunning building shone for what it truly could be. Then with a little TLC, the property was transformed into what it was worth – a gorgeous Victorian property with a family at its heart.

Rosehill House Hotel does functions!

John and Emma agreed with Alex that the way forward for Rosehill House Hotel was to start hosting functions.

And by the end of the episode, we saw that they’d taken her advice and even were partaking in a wedding venue open day!

They’d even opened up the conservatory for use and created a modern light-filled dining setting.
