In the most elaborate Made in Chelsea ploy in history, Jamie Laing organised to fly a random girl to Croatia.
Okay, so she wasn’t totally random. But still…
Sam Thompson had been caught out after friend-turn-enemy Harry Baron gossiped about him sleeping with a girl while on a lads’ holiday in Vegas.
The news broke to Sam’s girlfriend, Sophie ‘Habbs’ Habboo, and all hell broke loose during episode two of the Made in Chelsea: Croatia spin-off.
Naturally, the only way to patch everything up was to fly this mystery girl to Croatia and to get all the information on the table.
What could possibly go wrong…
Detective Jamie Laing
Jamie Laing had been vying for a way to get at Harry Baron ever since we can remember.
While Sam admitted that he did cheat on Habbs while in Vegas, Harry denied doing any wrongdoing, despite being with Sam for the duration of the holiday.
This was all the ammunition Jamie Laing needed to take things into his own hands!
As Sam sneaked away to grab a second bottle of champagne – you know, to go with their cheese and bread – Jamie called the girl Sam had slept with in Vegas and left a message telling her to instantly come to Croatia.
What an incredibly weird voicemail to receive from someone you’ve never met…
Edging Towards the Showdown
Within literally an instance, this girl – Diana Larionov – arrived.
Flight costs and carbon footprint aren’t a thing for MIC stars!
The rest of episode three was then geared towards taking down Harry Baron.
Jamie said: First thing, I don’t want anyone to call my boy (Sam) a liar. And secondly, I feel like Harry needs his comeuppance. He needs, for once and for all, people to realise that he’s not the guy he’s trying to be.”
However, we soon learned that Jamie and Sam didn’t actually have much on Harry and that he didn’t cheat on girlfriend Melissa Tattam.
Of course, this didn’t stop Jamie from trying to scrape together some sort of story.
Talk about putting words in poor Diana’s mouth…
Sam also proceeded to have dinner with Diana, where she explained how she hadn’t been romantically involved with anyone since Vegas (five weeks prior).
Of course, Sam had been seeing Habbs throughout this entire process, so all he could do was look staggeringly awkward.
Sam did nothing to simmer down his relationship with Diana and even walked her back to her hotel.
It all lead up to the last supper… Jamie vs Harry – vs Diana and Sam… vs Habbs
The Last Supper
Swilling red wine and basking in the sun over dinner, the MIC gang bickered over what may or may not have happened Vegas.
And queue Jamie Laing suddenly bringing in Diana.
And queue Melissa’s face. And queue Habbs’s awkward joke.
Diana ended up confessing everything that Harry had said to her while she and he were alone.
To which, of course, Harry denied.
Diana said: I tried to turn the conversation onto Melissa but you were like ‘I don’t really want to talk about her right now’… I asked you if you were in love with her and you said ‘she’s the one right now’… You also tried to my hand and I was uncomfortable.”
Eventually, Harry and Melissa stormed off from the dinner with Harry saying he had been “stitched up” and Melissa admitting that it was all “very embarrassing”.
In the teaser trailer to episode four, however, Harry sits down Melissa to confess that he did say those things to Diana while in Vega.
It looks like Diana is hanging around for another episode or two as well, so don’t miss out!
