Episode 1 of Masterchef 2019 introduced us to “star of the show” Annabel Anderson.
The 23-year-old amateur chef has already been dubbed as an early favourite to win the competition after breezing into the quarter-finals.

Who is Annabel Anderson?
Annabel Anderson is a 23-year-old from Middlesbrough.
She started off cooking by watching countless baking TV shows as a child, before taking the plunge and whipping up tasty meals for her parents aged 14.
Annabel can be found on Instagram under @annabelcooks, where she showcases her cooking talents.
What Else do We Know?
Annabel has a degree in BA (Hons) English with educational studies.
Looking at Instagram, Annabel is in a four-year relationship a 27-year-old called Richard.
They celebrate their anniversary on December 29th and could even be married based on the shiny ring spotted on her Gram’.

Annabel on Masterchef
Annabel is the first contestant to make it into the quarter-finals.
Initially, there are 56 amateur bakers competing against one other.
Each episode, there will be seven chefs battling it out in the kitchen to impress judges John Torode and Gregg Wallace.
There are four weeks of preliminary rounds.
The first of the knockout stages will launch on Monday, March 4th, with semi-finals following, and a final week of cooking commencing in the last week of March.
