Fans of Holby City faced a long and agonising night on Tuesday (November 20th).
The storyline involving Jac Naylor finally reached its summit although the result wasn’t what many viewers were expecting as a mystery man appeared out of nowhere.
Here’s how the drama unfolded with Jack Naylor…

What Happened to Jac in Holby City?
Many viewers thought that Jac’s hopes of survival were non-existent as they headed into BBC One’s 8 pm episode with little optimism.
However, everything changed with the surprise appearance of Guy Self, who hadn’t been in Holby City action in over 12 months.
Last seen in August 2017, the bossman was back…

With Guy heading a team to save Jac’s life, the rest of the hospital staff went on to search Professor John Gaskell’s office for clues.
Fortunately, Henrik Hanssen stumbled across the professor’s notes on how to counteract the poison that he had administered to Jac.
And it was at this moment that everyone started to believe in Jac’s survival.
If that wasn’t enough drama, Guy was joined by Mo Effanga as the comeback kings continued to waltz through the Holby City doors.
Following a hard night’s work – yet in the nick of time – the team were able to save Jac’s life.
The episode was rounded off with some classic Jac humour as she opened her eyes to see Guy standing above her having just saved her life.
I’ve died and this is hell.
