Where is I’m A Celebrity 2018 Filmed?

The very first season was filmed near Cairns, Australia, before the programme moved to Springbrook National Park, near Murwillumbah.

I’m A Celebrity 2018 will again be filmed at Springbrook National Park.

It’s located in New South Wales and isn’t actually a jungle.

Technically it’s a rainforest!

Animals Used on I’m A Celebrity

The rainforest is approximately 15,000 acres in size and 62 miles south of Brisbane.

Although the camp looks different every year, it’s the same spot, simply with a new makeover.

When it comes to wild animals, the forest is known as the ‘Noah’s Ark’ of Australia rainforests. It boasts a huge variety of animals and plants, many of which only exist in the rainforest.

This means that the snakes, frogs and crocodiles all naturally live in the surrounding area and are not brought in for effect!

Bushtucker Trials

At the entrance to the filming location is a number of buildings including the on-site medical facilities.

The Camp, which is a disused banana plantation, is situated further into the rainforest and only accessible by a four-wheel drive.

Finally, there are the locations for the Bushtucker Trials, which are performed in different locations across the rainforest.
