Celebrity Painting Challenge presenter Mariella Frostrup was born in Oslo, Norway before moving to London to pursue a career in journalism.
She quickly became a well-known presenter and went on to host a number of shows including Panorama, Frostrup on Sunday and Breakfast with Frost.
Over the years Mariella has written for newspapers such as The Guardian and The Observer and created an acclaimed BBC documentary called The Truth About The Menopause.
Aside from her work as a journalist, she also works as an art critic for the Man Booker Prize and the Orange Prize for Fiction, making her the perfect presenter for Celebrity Painting Challenge!
Celebrity Painting Challenge mentor Pascal Anson works as an artist, designer and author.
Pascal studied Design Products at the prestigious Royal College of Art, before going on to be mentored by world-renowned artist Tracey Emin, CBE.
He gained national fame as an artist in 2012 when he designed a British Airways plane as a dove in honour of the London Olympic Games and then went on to write a book called ‘Ordinary Made Extraordinary’.
As well as working as an artist, Pascal lectures at some of the UK’s top universities, and acts as a mentor on both The Big Painting Challenge and Celebrity Painting Challenge!
Celebrity Painting Challenge mentor Diana Ali studied Fine Art at Nottingham Trent University before completing a Masters in Contemporary Fine Art Curating/ Practice.
Her artwork combines drawing, installation and animation and she has exhibited her pieces worldwide in London, Australia, San Francisco and New York.
As well as being a visual artist, she is also a curator and art lecturer and has worked all around the world in countries such as China, Italy and South Korea.
She joined the cast in series 2 of the Big Painting Challenge in 2017 and this year joins Celebrity Painting Challenge for its first season.
