Since joining TOWIE in March 2018 Clelia has more often than not been in tears.
First off, she managed to get herself caught up in an Amber Turner and Dan Edgar love triangle. Then, she was in bits when she lost her bestie, Shelby Tribble.
Then, to top it all off the Plymouth beauty was unhappy again as she went through a breakup on-screen.

Who was Clelia’s boyfriend?
Clelia had been dating popular Essex boy Sonny Hall since 2018.
The pair kept their relationship low-key and according to The Sun, Clelia was “adamant” that Sonny wouldn’t join her on-screen for fear that it could destroy their relationship.

Clelia was romantically involved with Sonny for around a year.
The Essex lad has almost 7,000 followers on Instagram.
He previously dated Love Island’s Amber Davies. Sonny is the brother of ex-Towie cast member Jake Hall.
Jake was the boyfriend of Chloe Lewis and like most relationships on Towie, theirs went down like a lead balloon on camera, too.

What was their relationship like?
By the look of things, Clelia and her ex kept things pretty quiet.
Neither Clelia nor Sonny shared any pictures of each other on Instagram.
It does seem that Sonny is good friends with Clelia’s BFF Sam Mucklow as they’re pictured together on social media.

Did someone cheat?
The couple could have ended things on mutual terms as Sam Mucklow said in series 24 episode 7: “It’s a difficult time for you isn’t it. No one likes breaking up with someone. Try and think about it positive not in the negative.”
Clelia was clearly hurting as she broke down in tears many times during the show.
She said to Liam ‘Gatsby’ Blackwell at the traffic light party:
If I’m single, I’m single now so I’ve just got to get on with it.
Chloe Meadows added: “Sometimes you’re better off on your own.”
