The show follows eight slightly older celebrities as they get to grips with the difficulties of modern life.

Who is the Hard to Please OAPs narrator?
It’s none other than comedy legend Jennifer Saunders!
The BAFTA-winning actress has been an icon of British television since she rocketed to fame with the sketch show French & Saunders and then the BBC sitcom Absolutely Fabulous.

But where have you heard her voice before and why does it sound so familiar?
Jennifer Saunders.
Why do I recognise her voice?
Despite her extensive acting career, 60-year-old Jennifer has also worked multiple times as a voice actor.
She has voiced characters from the Fairy Godmother in Shrek 2 to Queen Elizabeth II in Minions and worked in other fabulous animated films such as Coraline and Sing.
And who could forget the Fairy Godmother’s iconic rendition of ‘I Need A Hero’ in the second instalment of the Shrek franchise?
