Why does Joey hate Dan? Five famous TOWIE dramas that lasted all of five minutes!

TOWIE stars Joey Essex and Dan Edgar have seen their fair share of fall outs having been friends for a number of years.

The BFF’s are currently not on speaking terms after Dan committed a serious bestie betrayal and started dating Joey’s cousin Chloe Sims.

But given that in reality TV world arguments blow over quicker than you can say TOWIE, it seems like the pair will make up soon.

Here is everything you need to know about the pair’s feud, plus a rundown of some of the most famous TOWIE bust-ups and makeups…

Joey Essex and Dan Edgar

The best pals fell out when Dan decided to move on from his ex Amber with Joey’s cousin Chloe Sims.

Chloe and Dan developed serious feelings for each other while filming TOWIE in Thailand and according to The Sun, Joey feels seriously betrayed.

A source told The Sun:

He isn’t at all happy that Dan and Chloe are seeing each other. He knows what Dan is like and has seen how he behaves with women on holiday in Ibiza. He sees Dan as a dirty dog and feels massively betrayed by him going there with her.

Despite being furious with Dan over the situation, Joey will have to get over it and make up with his bestie, as Chloe has admitted that the pair are now officially dating.

Megan McKenna and Pete Wicks

Megan and Pete are perhaps best known for their turbulent relationship, with one of their most famous TOWIE fights consisting of Megan discovering that Pete had been sending his ex X-rated messages – very naughty!

Despite Megan’s on-air screaming about his guilt and betrayal, it didn’t take the pair to look past the drama and makeup.

Appearing with Pete on the latest series of Celebs Go Dating, Megan said: “When we started this process we hadn’t spoken and now at the end of it… I agree, I feel I can talk to you and I feel really comfortable.

Pete agreed: “At the end of this whole thing, what I have gained is a good friend and I wish you all the best.”

Gemma Collins and Bobby Norris

Who could forget when Gemma Collins decided to drag Bobby Norris into her drama mid-argument with Lauren Pope?

Gemma got in a heated argument with Lauren and Vas J Morgan when she learned Lauren had been doing an impression of her, and in retaliation told that pair that Bobby had been doing impressions of Lauren behind her back as well.

Bobby was rightly outraged shouting ” Don’t f****ng throw me under the bus Gemma, this is where we fall out!”

But the besties soon cleared things up and ever since Bobby and Gemma have been BFF, with the Celebs on the Ranch star being Gemma’s biggest supporter of her telly endeavours post-TOWIE.

Tommy Mallett and Diags

In 2015 it all kicked off between Tommy and James ‘Diags’ Bennewith when Diags accused Tommy of cheating on Georgia Kousoulou during a night out in Newcastle.

The heated argument went down between the trio during a St. Patricks Day party, with Georgia ending up in floods of tears.

But as you can see from the TOWIE trip to Thailand, the pair are as close as ever and it’s safe to say it all got swept under the rug.

Lucy Mecklenburgh and Mario Falcone

Mario and Lucy’s relationship had a fair few ups and downs, including when Lucy infamously threw red wine all over Mario’s white shirt in Marbella.

After the breakup of their engagement back in 2013 it seemed like the couple’s relationship could never be fixed but Lucy later remarked the pair had ran into each other and made up at a party.

Speaking to The Sun she said: “We actually had a really lovely, adult conversation. It felt like we’d both grown up a lot and he seemed very mature and content.”
